Self-taught photographer Thomas Gauthier was born in 1983.
He works on the notion of space and the relationship between man and his environement. Through his work, he tells a deeply human story, interested in the beauty and complexity of ordinary life by capturing the moment of a situation, tending willingly towards abstract expressionism, he breathes poetry into the forms he captures.
Favoring long-term projects, he is not afraid to mix formats, color and b&w. His approach is guided by the need to express his feelings.
